Kizomba Basics

Kizomba is in 4/4 time, but some patterns and variations take 6 steps to finish (1.5 bars for a pattern). If you can manage the pattern in European Jive, you can get it easily.

*The tap is executed by straightening the knee and drop the weight to the heel, but immediately bent the knee and lift the heel again, thus leaving no weight on the tapping foot. Shuffles or syncopation may be used as transitional steps to change to another pattern.
